The first days of school

So we survived the first days of school for both AJ and Cooper. AJ as usual didn't need me at all (well other than to drive him.) He knew which classroom was his and was done with me from the time we left the house. Cooper was a little more clingy, well to AJ at least. Cooper's drop off time and AJ's pick up time is the same so AJ helped us drop off Cooper in his new classroom and Cooper first asked if I would stay with him, when I said no, he said well than AJ can stay with me! AJ gave Cooper a hug and kissed his hand (something he just learned in school) and said "Have fun Cooper we will be back later for you!" And Cooper was fine with that, he blew me "a thousand kisses" and off we went. I love how close my boys are, really without AJ being there today it could have been very bad. Looking good!
Walking to the truck. The back pack just about toppled him over it is so big!

Riding to school, say "Cheese!"

Hanging up his backpack in his cubby.

Blowing mommy a thousand kisses.

AJ waiting for Cooper to come out of school. (Check out the blue tennis shoes, we had to search 4 shoe stores to find "blue his favorite color!!"

Wahoo! He survived and came out with a big smile and a project already.

He was so proud of his project.

Daddy getting AJ ready.

He is ready with his full backpack.

Such a handsome boy!

Seriously mom stop taking pictures!

Cooper's Birthday

Here are some of the highlight of Cooper's birthday celebrations. Remember we started celebrating the week prior when we went to Uncle Dan's and Aunt Heather's house and the festivities went on for weeks after! The boys playing Hungry Hungry Hippos(the gift Cooper picked out for himself when we took him shopping.) I must say it is pretty cheesy, the hippos aren't as sturdy as when I was a kid and the "marbles" are plastic, hollow balls. I need to check out the antique shops to find a good one!

Making Cooper's birthday cupcakes.

Waiting patiently for the cupcakes to come out of the oven.

Cooper opening his first "tard." (still a little speech delay :) )

Cooper on his new birthday scooter from mom, dad and AJ. He LOVES this thing.

Cooper realizing that his surprise evening was at Chuck E Cheese!

AJ and Daddy driving.

B helping Cooper with Skee ball.

Tete being silly, poor Clifford!

Cooper showing how you should ride.

Cooper challenges daddy to air hockey. I so want one for our basement, if only I could figure out how to fit it down the steps!

B and AJ in the tubes. B made sure she was ready to crawl, since I believe for her 3rd birthday I was forced to crawl around with her!!

Cooper being silly in a tube.

Whack em AJ!

Whack em Cooper!

Look at that form!

Thomas toys!

Cooper's new "DS."

Our traditional marking on their birthdays. Notice right above where Tony is marking was how tall AJ was last year at 4!!!

Tony is pointing to where AJ stood at 3, Cooper is at least 3 inches taller than AJ was at 3. AJ is sooooo in trouble because Cooper is catching up fast.
