An eventful weekend

This past weekend was eventful and packed full of fun. Friday AJ had his first t-ball game. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. I tried video taping it, but I think I was laughing so hard that the camera shook too much to try to show. Anywhere and everywhere the ball went AJ ran after it, along with 9 other children! Again it was too cute to watch. Saturday was Brittany's first Holy Communion. I can't believe how big she is now, the next thing we know she will be going to the prom! She looked beautiful in her "princess" attire (thank goodness for ebay!) The boys really enjoyed themselves at her reception, they got to see real fire engines, and play with some of their cousins that they don't get to see too often. All in all a great day. Sunday we went to see Brittany play soccer and then just enjoyed the beautiful weather. Here are some pictures highlighting our jammed packed weekend. AJ ready for his first game.
Cooper styling as AJ's biggest fan! It is a good thing Chut and Tete went to a Nationals game last year and got this shirt for Cooper so he could match the team.

AJ fielding (if that is what you want to call it) the ball.

Step, throw and pose for the picture. He is a natural!

It was hard for AJ to be too serious and not speak to the opposing team, I mean come on he knows we cheer for the O's!!

This is as good as a family picture as we can get at this point!

The proud family.

Easter pictures

It was another fun and plentiful Easter in our household. I have finally finished emptying the contents of the EIGHT baskets the boys received. I think it is great that my boys are loved but oh my goodness the amount of candy we have in our house is unreal! We started our weekend by dying eggs at Aunt Lissa's house on Friday, but unfortunately I forgot my camera. The community egg hunt got cancelled on Saturday because of rain, but Brittany came over to help us prepare for our Easter feast instead. Then on Sunday we hosted Easter at our house where we opened baskets, had an egg hunt and feasted all day long. The boys really love having family over and played and ate until they passed out. Hope everyone else enjoyed their holiday as much as we did. AJ and Cooper bringing their baskets to leave for the Easter Bunny.

Take me out to the ballgame....

AJ started T-ball last week and is absolutely loving it! He is no Cal Ripken yet, but soon I just know it. :) I have decided he is an over achiever because he skips 1st base when running and as soon as he hits the ball he runs to pick it up himself instead of running the bases!! I have to say it is the funniest thing ever to watch eight 4 year olds attempt to field and bat, I sure am glad I am not the coach because I don't even have enough patience to watch them play. But hey he is having fun and that is all that counts. Here are a few pictures that I took with my cell phone because I keep forgetting to bring the camera. Really watching the ball before he hits his "home run."
Check out his tongue in this one, talk about concentration!

For my friend, Bonny

So normally I don't fall prey to people who send those wonderful "challenges" but this time was different. My friend Bonny challenged me with the following directions:

1. Go to the photo folder in your computer
2. Go to the 6th folder of photos.
3. Go to the sixth picture.
4. Put the picture on your blog and description of it.
5. Invite six friends to join the challenge.

Minus the invite six friends (because I don't think I know six bloggers) I have done it. The picture I HAD to pick is too funny because it is a true "statement" of our lives. For those of you who know me will completely laugh your heads off because you know that my boys pretty much live in their pajamas, eat popsicles morning, noon and night, and their hair is never fixed!! I always say, "This is the reason God gave me boys because I hate doing hair!"

Thanks Bonny for giving me a fun challenge!
